Step Up!

For 17 years, the Alaska Run for Women event has been orchestrated by a dedicated group of volunteers. Their efforts reflect not only a unique Alaska style – where else would people decorate a Port-a-Potty – but also a strong sense of empowerment and harmony among all participants. It is a rare feeling that is truly tangible at the event.

There is something for everyone, both pre-race and race day! Bib pick-up, course set-up, timing/results compilation, water stations, set-up, tear down and more - hundreds of volunteers are needed!
